Napoli reach agreement to extend Rrahmani contract until 2029

Napoli have agreed terms with Amir Rrahmani over a new deal, with only the official announcement outstanding.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Kosovo international has reached an agreement with Aurelio De Laurentiis over an extension running to 2029, worth around €3.8m a season. His current contract expires in 2027, so the new arrangement represents a two-year extension.

Rrahmani remains central under Allegri at Napoli

The deal is a clear statement of where the defender sits in Napoli’s plans. He arrived in 2020 and has become a fixture at the back, and that has not changed under Massimiliano Allegri, he has already made six appearances this season, registering an assist across 540 minutes.

It is also a response to speculation that built over recent months, with approaches reported from England, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia for the former Verona centre-back.

The existing deal already carried an option to extend to 2028, so the new terms extend that commitment by a further year and remove any ambiguity about his future.
