Export prices unexpectedly rise in August; import prices increase more than expected

U.S. export prices rose 0.6% M/M in August, vs. -0.2% consensus and -1.4% prior (revised from -1.3%), according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday.
Prices for both nonagricultural exports and agricultural exports increased.
