Angelica Panganiban, ‘Call Me Mother’ among winners at ContentAsia Awards 2026
Angelica Panganiban, Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre-starrer “Call Me Mother” and investigative report “Corruption Series: A Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho Special Report” were among the winners recognized at the recently held 7th ContentAsia Awards in Bangkok, Thailand.
Panganiban was honored with the bronze award for Best Female Lead in a TV Program/Series Made in Asia, for her performance as Jackie Carpio in the mystery-thriller limited series “The Silent Noise.”

“Call Me Mother” emerged as the silver awardee for Best Feature Film or Telemovie Made in Asia, while GMA’s investigative report took home the bronze award in the Best Current Affairs Program Made in Asia for a Single Market in Asia category.

Other local entries that made it to the winners list were the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean series “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and GMA’s documentary “Broken Roads, Broken Promises.” The titles respectively won silver and gold awards in the Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia and Best Factual Entertainment Program Made in Asia for a Single Asia Market categories.
The 2026 ContentAsia awardees, which also included entries from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines, were announced during the awards ceremony held in Bangkok on Thursday, Aug. 27.
