Star Trek: Lt. Commander Spock Officially Arrives March 2027 For Collectors

Star Trek: The Original Series had some truly iconic moments across its three-season run, with the legendary Leonard Nimoy's Commander Spock responsible for many of the show's most memorable scenes. As the Enterprise's half-Vulcan first officer, Spock quickly became one of the defining characters of the franchise, introducing audiences to everything from the Vulcan salute and nerve pinch to his famously logical approach to impossible situations.

Episodes such as "Amok Time" and "The City on the Edge of Forever" gave us a better look into Vulcan history and also demonstrated the complicated friendship that developed between Spock and Captain Kirk. Some of Nimoy's greatest performances, however, came whenever the carefully controlled Vulcan exterior began to crack. Few episodes demonstrated that conflict more powerfully than Season 1's "The Naked Time," which stripped away Spock's emotional barrier and gave viewers an unusually vulnerable look at the human side of the character.

In March 2027, Commander Spock's iconic role in "The Naked Time" is being immortalized thanks to a brand-new release from EXO-6. The company has unveiled a 1/6-scale Lt. Commander Spock figure recreating Leonard Nimoy's appearance in the environmental suit worn during the Enterprise crew's investigation of the doomed research station on Psi 2000.

EXO-6 officially estimates delivery during the first quarter of 2027, while retailers such as Mamegyorai currently list a more specific March 2027 arrival. Sideshow similarly gives the collectible a January through March 2027 shipping window.

The museum-grade figure stands approximately 29 centimeters tall, with a hand-painted portrait sculpt designed to capture Nimoy's likeness. The real centerpiece is Spock's distinctive orange-and-silver environmental suit, reproduced in fabric and accompanied by matching gloves, boots, and a removable hood with its screened face covering.

Accessories include the tricorder Spock carries during the mission, a spectrum analyzer, and EXO-6's hexagonal display base. The unusual protective suits were created specifically for "The Naked Time" and never appeared again in The Original Series, making this an especially episode-specific take on Spock.

EXO-6 lists the figure at a $220 MSRP, with a non-refundable $20 deposit required to secure a direct preorder. The company's preorder period is scheduled to close on October 1, 2026, and the deposit is applied toward the eventual purchase price. With its unusually specific costume and episode-accurate accessories, the release turns one of Spock's earliest and most recognizable Star Trek: The Original Series adventures into a must-have collectible.
