The Drishyam threequel debuted with a show count of 16,125 on Friday, the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. On day 2, the show count was increased by 1,101, taking the total to 17,226. On day 3, the first Sunday, 474 more shows have been added, and the updated count before the first show started was 17,700. This is the peak show count for the film, and it is likely to make most of it.
Drishyam 3 grosses 26 crore+ through day 3 advance bookings
As it’s Sunday today, family audiences are expected to flock to theaters in large numbers for Drishyam 3, and this was evident in the advance bookings. Before the first show started, the film had sold 7.39 lakh tickets (excluding blocked seats) for day 3. In terms of collections, it grossed a whopping 26.3 crore at the Indian box office through the first Sunday’s advances. Compared to day 2’s 21.91 crore gross, this is a 20.03% jump. In net collections, it equals 22.29 crore.
