Pertamina provides fuel delivery service to reduce queues in Bali

Translate

Pertamina Patra Niaga has started delivering fuel in jerry cans to help reduce customer queues at several gas stations, particularly in Denpasar, Bali.

"This is an alternative service for motorcyclists," the Area Manager of Communication, Relations, and CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga's East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara (Jatimbalinus) Region, Ahad Rahedi, said on Friday.

The company is optimizing its delivery service by distributing 5,000 liters of Pertalite fuel per day at several gas stations in Denpasar, with a maximum purchase of three liters per person with cash payments.

The delivery service points are located at Teras Ayung, Nangka Utara, Kesiman, Trenggana, Hayam Wuruk, Antasura, Renon, and Imam Bonjol fuel stations in Denpasar.

"The selection of service points is continuously evaluated, taking into account queue conditions and community needs," Rahedi explained.

Besides optimizing services at gas stations, the company is also strengthening supply by sea.

On Friday, the MT Pangkalan Brandan tanker docked at the Manggis Fuel Terminal (IT) in Karangasem District, Bali, carrying 16 million liters of Pertalite.

Followed by the MT Asian Rigel tanker docking at the Sanggaran Fuel Terminal in Denpasar, carrying four million liters of Pertalite, bringing the total to 20 million liters.

According to Rahedi, this increased supply is supported by the 24-hour operation of the Manggis and Sanggaran Fuel Terminals, as well as the readiness of 108 tanker trucks and 465 tanker crew members for distribution.

Furthermore, 66 gas stations in Denpasar City and Badung District are prepared to operate 24 hours a day, consisting of 42 in Denpasar and 24 in Badung.

Coordination with local authorities, police, and other stakeholders is being intensified to support seamless operations and ensure a safe and orderly environment.

"Queues at a number of gas stations are starting to gradually ease," Rahedi confirmed.
