Raichandani's 110* helps India U-19 whitewash Australia U-19 3-0

Opening batter and captain Lakshya Raichandani hit an unbeaten 110 off 106 balls as India Under-19 completed a 3-0 whitewash of Australia Under-19 in the one-day series. Raichandani's innings, which included nine fours and three sixes, helped the hosts chase 255 down with 52 balls to spare.

Along the way, Raichandani shared stands of 58, 85 and 80 (unbroken) with Aaryavir Sehwag, Kushagra Ojha and Rajat Baghel, respectively. Raichandani and Sehwag's quick opening partnership laid the foundation for the chase. An attacking Sehwag dominated the 58-run stand and hit five fours in a knock of 34 off 31 balls. Ojha scored 45, while Baghel smashed 44 not out off 34.

Opting to bat after winning the toss, Australia lost their last six wickets for just 37 runs to be bowled out for 254 in the final over. Left-arm spinner Manal Chauhan and seamer Mohit Ulva finished with three wickets each, including four of the last six to fall. Opener Zed Hollick had earlier led Australia's charge, hitting 87 of the 126 runs scored by his side until his dismissal.

Neel Patel scored a patient 51 off 71 balls, which included a solitary four, before becoming Ulva's first wicket. When Chauhan got Eli Brain in the 42nd over, it started a collapse, after which Australia couldn't recover.
