Alice Kremelberg, Matthew Leone & Christine Taylor Join Indie Addiction Drama ‘Madison’

EXCLUSIVE: Alice Kremelberg (The Boroughs), Matthew Leone (Atonement) and Christine Taylor (The Dink) are set to star in Madison, an independent drama that begins shooting on the East Coast this winter.

Marking the feature debut of writer-director Joe Camara, the film follows Luke (Leone), a man struggling with addiction, debt and a life that has steadily unraveled around him. After trading his family’s beloved dog, Madison, for drugs, Luke is forced to confront the consequences of what he has done as he desperately tries to get her back — all while his fractured relationship with his family continues to deteriorate.

Kremelberg plays Luke’s sister Becca, with Taylor as their mother, Amy. Producers include Camara, SJ Allocco-St. Germain, who also serves as casting director, and Sam Felsher.

Kremelberg most recently starred in the Duffer Brothers’ Netflix limited series The Boroughs and previously starred in Sally Wainwright’s Disney+ UK series Renegade Nell. Also seen in Season 4 of USA’s anthology The Sinner, she is repped by Untitled and Paradigm.

Leone appears opposite Kenneth Branagh, Hiam Abbass and Boyd Holbrook in Atonement, the feature directorial debut of Oscar-nominated filmmaker Reed Van Dyk, which recently premiered at TIFF. He won Best Actor at Tribeca for his lead performance in the indie God’s Waiting Room and has also been seen on the shows Power and Orange Is the New Black. He is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment.

Taylor is best known for her work in films including Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Zoolander and The Brady Bunch Movie. She can currently be seen in Apple TV’s comedy The Dink and will next be seen in Courteney Cox’s directorial debut, Evil Genius, another title fresh off its TIFF debut. She is repped by Strand Entertainment and IAG.
