Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 Anime Streams New Music Videos
The official YouTube channel for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime began streaming on Tuesday a new music video directed by Jack-Amin Ibrahim (key animator for One Piece Heroines, One Piece Fan Letter) that centers on Weak Kingsley and Avida. The music video is set to the anime's ending theme song "Watson" by Petite Meller ft Oslo Green:

Kai Ikarashi (who was a storyboard artist, animation director, animator, and prop designer for the first series) helmed the new series in his directorial debut. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners producer and writer Bartosz Sztybor again worked on the series, and Ichigo Kanno (animation director and key animator on the first series) was the lead character designer. Masahiko Otsuka returned as the scriptwriter.
The new anime's opening theme song is The Cure's 1978 song "10:15 Saturday Night," and the ending theme song is Petite Meller's "Watson." Rapper RICO NASTY wrote and performed "YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME" for the anime, and it appeared in the second teaser trailer.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime series by Studio Trigger based on CD PROJEKT RED's Cyberpunk 2077 game, debuted on Netflix in September 2022. The game is itself based on Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk tabletop RPG game series.
Aniplex of America released the series on a complete Blu-ray Disc set in North America in October 2025. Anime Limited and Plaion Pictures released the series on home video in Europe, and Sugoi Co released the series on home video in Australia and New Zealand.
A prequel manga titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Madness from artist Asano (BNA: Brand New Animal manga) and writer Bartosz Sztybor (CD PROJEKT RED) launched on the Comic Alive+ website in December 2024, and is getting a release in seven languages aside from Japanese. Dark Horse is releasing the series in English in print.
