Translate

As Linda Carter's exit story continues to gather pace, her family are left fearful for her wellbeing in advanced spoilers released by the BBC.

Linda's been determined to hold things together in the wake of Nancy and Lee's returns, with Nancy currently unwilling to hand over parental responsibility to Lee for the baby she's carrying as his surrogate due to his out-of-control drinking.

Next week sees Linda seek out her arch-nemesis and Walford's premiere Queen of Mean, Janine Butcher, after answering a mysterious phone call on Lee's phone.

Returning home, Linda is convinced by Max that she needs to face the situation head-on, with the two of them heading away to confront Janine.

While we're yet to learn what Janine tells her, it seems as though it'll have an enormous impact on the Carter matriarch and the family at large. Later in the month, there's huge concern from her loved ones over how she's handling things.

As the week continues, Linda eventually decides to be honest about her feelings, opening up about her anxieties.

Meanwhile, Gina is on a mission, as she looks set to discover a truth. Though it's currently unclear what it's regarding, she's currently unaware of the true paternity of best friend Penny's baby, Ethan.

As viewers know, Ethan was actually fathered by Gina's boyfriend, Harry, before they got together. This is something that Penny only discovered when her baby scan revealed she was further along than she'd thought, meaning that Vinny, who she'd told was the dad, couldn't possibly be.

After a week of desperately seeking out the answer to a big question, Gina is faced with a tough choice.

Elsewhere, Eve finds herself in a difficult situation, dealing with the fallout of a yet-to-be-revealed incident, while Denise finds her resolve tested once again in her ongoing cancer storyline.
