Five-star wing Jordan Page announced his commitment to UConn on Sunday, giving the Huskies their first recruiting class with two ESPN five-star prospects in at least 20 years.

Page chose UConn over North Carolina after taking visits to both schools in September.

With Page, the No. 14 prospect in the SC Next 100, in the fold alongside No. 12 NaVorro Bowman Jr., coach Dan Hurley now has the top two committed prospects in the class of 2027.

A 6-foot-6 small forward from North Carolina who attends IMG Academy (Florida), Page averaged 16.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game on the Adidas 3SSB circuit last spring and summer with Garner Road Basketball Club.

He has won two gold medals with USA Basketball, first at the FIBA U16 AmeriCup in 2025 and then at the FIBA U17 World Cup over the summer. He started all six games in Istanbul at the World Cup, averaging 9.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.7 rebounds.

UConn now has the No. 1 recruiting class in 2027, as the only program with two five-star commits.

Page and Bowman should complement each other well, with Page a long two-way wing and Bowman one of the elite scorers in the class. The Huskies are also bringing back Solo Ball for the 2027-28 season, with the former starter redshirting this season due to a wrist injury. Current freshman Junior County is expected to play a role for the upcoming season, meaning Hurley could have one of the most talented and versatile perimeter groups in the country by 2027-28.

Page's commitment likely takes UConn out of the mix for No. 2 overall prospect Demarcus Henry, with Arkansas having the most momentum in his recruitment.
