Boy, six, died after he fell onto road while riding bike and was struck by Ford Transit tipper, inquest hears

A six-year-old boy died after falling into the path of a Ford Transit tipper while riding his bike, an inquest has heard.
Harrison Glynne Jones was just steps away from the front door of his home in Llanfairfechan, Wales, on October 1 when he was struck by a vehicle.
His family revealed he had asked to go for a ride after eating dinner – before falling into the narrow road as he mounted his bike.
Harrison's father, Daryl Jones, was mere yards behind him when the 'unimaginable' incident occurred on Mill Road, shortly after 5pm. Mr Jones rushed to his son but Harrison was declared dead at the scene.
An inquest into the tragedy was opened at Ruthin in North Wales but was adjourned pending further investigations.
Home Office pathologist Dr Brian Rodgers conducted a post-mortem examination and found severe trauma.
North Wales Police said a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The force also appealed for any witnesses or individuals with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral and memorial costs.

As of Monday evening, more than £28,000 has been raised.
A statement from the family read: 'On October 1, our family's world was changed forever when Kayleigh and Daryl's beautiful six–year–old son Harrison was tragically hit by a vehicle outside of his own home and sadly passed away at the scene in front of his family.
'There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak and devastation his parents, sisters and our whole family are experiencing.
'A child should never be taken from their family so suddenly, under such tragic circumstances and we are all struggling to come to terms with this unimaginable loss.
'Harrison was a cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room, and he was loved more deeply than words could ever express.
'The money raised will help towards funeral and memorial costs, as well as helping his parents with rent, household bills, food and other essential expenses while they take time away from work to grieve and be with their family.'
Previously, flowers and soft toys were left close to the scene in tribute to Harrison, as police continued to investigate the incident.
A message from The Llanfair Arms on Facebook said: 'Today, our little village has been left heartbroken by the devastating loss of a very special little boy.
Harrison was described as 'the little boy with the big heart'. Anyone with information has been asked to contact North Wales Police
'He was a little boy so many of us knew, and loved, and our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him at this unimaginably painful time.
'There really are no words that can make sense of a tragedy like this. As a village, we are all feeling the loss, and our hearts are with his family as they face the days ahead.'
Detective Inspector Tim Evans of the North Wales Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: 'Our thoughts are first and foremost with the child's family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
'We recognise the profound impact that a tragedy such as this has on a family and the wider community.
'A full investigation into the circumstances of the collision is now underway, and we are renewing our appeal to anyone who was in the area around Pen y Bryn Road and Mill Road around 5pm on October 1 and who is yet to speak to us, to contact us as soon as possible.
'We're urging anybody who may have private CCTV footage, a front door camera, or dashcam footage to please get in touch.
'These may have captured something that you did not think was significant at the time.
'Please do not assume that someone else has come forward – even the smallest piece of information could help our investigation establish what happened.'
