Ameeshenraj-Rachel clinch mixed doubles bronze

NAGOYA: Squash players C. Ameeshenraj and Rachel Arnold settled for bronze in the Asain Games mixed doubles event on Saturday after going down to Hong Kong's Toby Tse-Lai Cheuk Nam in the semi-finals.

Toby-Cheuk Nam had the edge when it mattered, clinching a close two-setter 11-10, 11-7 win at the Nagoya Kinjo Futo Arena.

Syafiq Kamal-Aifa Azman, the other Malaysian pair in the draw, lost in the quarter-finals on Friday.

Toby-Cheuk Nam will play compatriots Lee Ka Yi-Tang Ming Hong in the final on Sunday.
