Zaron Cosmetics marks 15th anniversary
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zaron Cosmetics, Oke Maduewesi, has recalled the struggles behind building the beauty brand, saying she remained committed to her vision despite lacking the resources to put the brand on billboards.
Maduewesi stated this at the 15th anniversary celebration of Zaron Cosmetics, where she reflected on the brand’s journey, noting that its growth had not been a smooth one.
According to her, the brand faced several challenges in its early days, but she remained committed to build the brand she had envisioned.
“People like us did not have money to put ourselves on billboards,” she said.
She recalled how she pushed ahead despite being bullied, saying her determination eventually led to the choice of Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, as the face of the brand.

Maduewesi expressed gratitude to those who had contributed to the growth of the company, adding that Zaron had yet to reach its full potential.
As part of activities marking the anniversary, Zaron unveiled its new hair care range and its 2026 brand ambassador was also unveiled.
The celebration featured entertainment from spoken-word artiste, Ibquake; Falz also performed at the event, while the Loud Urban Choir added to the excitement of the occasion.
