Shikha Pandey put in an impressive display with the ball but Trinbago Knight Riders suffered a comprehensive defeat to Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2026 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday.

Shikha bowled a frugal spell of two for nine from her four overs as the Knight Riders kept the Amazon Warriors to 119 for eight in its 20 overs, accounting for Chloe Tryon and Nadine de Klerk.

Shemaine Campbell was the top-scorer in the innings with 31 from 28 deliveries.

However, the Knight Riders struggled in reply, and quickly slipped to 43 for six in the chase. Among those to fall cheaply was Yastika Bhatia, who was dismissed caught behind off the bowling of Shabnim Ismail for six from nine balls.

Shikha put up a resistance with the bat as well, scoring 15 from 20 balls, but it was ultimately not enough to prevent a 25-run defeat.
