Son Heung-min pulls into tie for S. Korean men's goals lead
SEOUL, Sept. 28 (Yonhap) -- Captain Son Heung-min has joined former star Cha Bum-kun as the greatest male goal scorers in South Korean football history.
Son scored South Korea's lone goal in their 4-1 loss to Uruguay in a friendly match at Seoul World Cup Stadium in the capital city on Monday.
It was Son's 58th goal in his 149th appearance. He is already the sole leader in international caps among male players.

Son, now 34, made his international debut in December 2010 and scored his first goal in January 2011 against India.
By getting a piece of a cross by Lee Kang-in in the 80th minute of Monday's loss, Son has now scored in each of the first two matches under the team's interim head coach, Robert Moreno.
The goal was also Son's 300th goal, combining his total from club action and international play.
Ji So-yun, longtime women's national team star, is the country's all-time leader with 76 goals in 180 appearances.
