Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are seeking public assistance to locate two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, who were reported missing in separate incidents in Lembah Jaya, Ampang.

Ampang Jaya police chief assistant commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid said the first case involved Shahzan Iskandar Abdullah, 14, who was reported missing after leaving his home at the Taman Industri Lembah Jaya Apartments on Monday.

He said the teenager left around 9.30pm, saying he wanted to pick up his younger brother who had returned from a Quranic class.

"After picking up his brother and returning home, the teenager went out again and has not returned since.

"He is about 168cm tall, weighs 55kg and has a medium-brown complexion," he said in a statement.

Khairul Anuar said the second case involved Nur Damya Adriana Rohaizat, 16, who was reported missing from her home in Lembah Jaya Utara yesterday.

He said the teenager's mother, who was at work, was informed by her other daughter that Damya was not in her bedroom around 1.15pm.

"Her mother tried to contact Damya, but the calls and messages went unanswered.

"Damya is about 163cm tall, weighs 41kg and has a fair complexion," he said.

He urged anyone with information on either teenager to contact the nearest police station or the Ampang Jaya District Police Headquarters control centre at 03-4289 7222.

Information can also be channelled to investigating officer Inspector Wan Norfazreen Wan Fauzi at 019-726 5122.
