Police declare Kano man wanted over alleged fraud, conspiracy

The Nigeria Police Force, Zone One Command, Kano, has declared a 37-year-old man, Usman Ibrahim, wanted over alleged criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.

Ibrahim, whose occupation is unknown, was described in the police wanted bulletin as dark-complexioned, with a round face and black eyes.

The bulletin was made available to PUNCH Metro on Tuesday by the Zone One Police Public Relations Officer, Hussaini Abdullahi.

According to the police, Ibrahim’s last known address is No. 14, Layin Jaji-Majigama, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

The wanted notice, issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police, urged members of the public with information about Ibrahim’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.

The police said the notice was issued pursuant to Force Directive CID No. 48, which provides for rewards for information leading to the arrest of persons declared wanted under the directive.

The command urged anyone who sighted Ibrahim to assist the police in effecting his arrest and hand him over to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.

The police listed the alleged offences against him as criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
