Nani's ‘The Paradise’ crosses Rs 150 crore worldwide, drops below Rs 5 crore on Day 5

Natural Star Nani and director Srikanth Odela witnessed their career-best opening with ‘The Paradise’ last Thursday. However, the film received mixed reactions from audiences upon its initial run.

Because of this, the film’s collections took a hit and are now experiencing a gradual decline.

On Tuesday, the action thriller earned less than Rs 5 crore in India.

‘The Paradise’ day 5 collections

According to trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘The Paradise’ minted over Rs 4.40 crore across 5,772 shows. The film’s Tuesday collections saw a 12% decline from the previous day’s collection of Rs 5 crore.The film has now crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, reaching an India net collection of Rs 101.50 crore, and the total India gross currently stands at Rs 120 crore.Speaking of the collections overseas, on Tuesday the film made Rs 50 lakh, which brings the total overseas gross collections to Rs 30.50 crore. This brings the worldwide gross collection to Rs 150.50 crore.The film opened strongly at the box office, but its collections have seen a gradual decline following the mixed response. Its performance in the coming days will determine how it holds up during its theatrical run.

‘The Paradise’ occupancy

On day 5, the film had an overall occupancy of 21.67%. The morning show began at a lower number of 18.15%. Later, it increased to 23.08% in the afternoon before declining to 22.77%. Additionally, it further decreased to 22.69%.

About ‘The Paradise’

Speaking of the film, Nani and Srikanth Odela reunited after the success of their 2023 film ‘Dasara’. Nani plays the intense and rugged character Jadal in the film.Set in the slums of 1980s Secunderabad, the film follows a marginalised community facing social discrimination and being denied basic rights.

The film also stars Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu.
