Spain return to home soil for the first time since winning the 2026 World Cup when they host Croatia in a heavyweight Nations League clash at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan this evening.

La Roja made a winning start to their campaign with a thrilling 3-2 victory over England at Wembley, while Croatia edged Czech Republic 2-1 in Prague.

Spain showed their champions' mentality against England, recovering from Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane goals after Lamine Yamal had struck early. Alex Baena restored parity, after Kane missed from the penalty spot, and Mikel Oyarzabal completed the comeback to extend Spain's remarkable run of form. They have won four of their last six meetings with Croatia and have lost just one competitive game since March 2023.

Croatia arrive in Seville with renewed optimism after Slaven Bilic marked his return as head coach with victory in Prague, 14 years after his first spell ended. Luka Modric, now 41, opened the scoring before Marco Pasalic struck the winner after Czechia had levelled.

Both nations sit on three points at the top of Group A3, making Tuesday's encounter an early battle for control of the section. Spain will also be wary of Croatia's ability to cause problems despite their recent head-to-head record, although Croatia have not beaten La Roja since their 3-2 Nations League victory in 2018.

A single match pass costs £2.49, with coverage beginning at 7:35pm BST ahead of a 7:45pm kick-off in Bursa. That is 8:45pm local time.

Spain face Croatia again next Tuesday night at the Poljud Stadium, in Split.
