South Africa pacer Ottneil Baartman was ruled out of the upcoming Australia ODI series due to an injury, the country’s cricket board announced on Sunday.

Baartman suffered a left hamstring injury during a First Class match between Dolphins and Titans where he only bowled five overs before going off the field.

Cricket South Africa has named Duan Jansen as his replacement for the series starting September 24. He will join the squad in Durban on September 19.

Baartman is the second player to get ruled out of the series after Kagiso Rabada, who is also recovering from a hamstring injury.

Jansen is currently in the Namibia where South Africa is playing an ODI series.
