Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Tie the Knot in Arkansas

Former ABC News colleagues and current podcast co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, whose budding romance turned heads and filled gossip pages in 2022, married in a small Arkansas ceremony last month, according to a marriage license registered in Washington County.

The former GMA3: What You Need to Know hosts tied the knot on Sept. 19 in Robach’s home state, the day after they applied for the license. The Washington County clerk’s office registered the license on Oct. 13, making the couple’s news public. People first reported the marriage on Tuesday.

It is the third marriage for both veteran broadcast journalists, who were each in marriages that were ending when the two got together. Robach, 53, was previously married to Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, and Holmes to attorney Marilee Fiebig. In an unexpected twist, Shue and Fiebig entered a relationship of their own following their respective splits.

The two had kept their relationship quiet at work, but both were eventually fired from ABC News over the failure to disclose it. Robach had been with the network for 11 years; Holmes joined ABC in 2012 from an anchoring job at CNN.

In October 2025, the couple announced their engagement on their Amy & TJ podcast.

“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach said at the time.

Neither Robach nor Holmes has made a public statement about the marriage as of Tuesday evening.

The two are now parents in a blended family, each bringing children from a previous marriage.
