Announcing ANN in Japan 2027 Tour
Announcing our third ANN in Japan tour! Anime News Network and Pac Set tours are teaming up once again to offer a very special tour to our readers.

We know that not everyone at ANN wants to visit Japan at the same time of year, maybe you're interested in the fall momiji, maybe the summer matsuri, or the spring sakura, or even the winter festival. So starting this 2027, every ANN in Japan tour will target a different season.
Next November and December, spend 7 to 14 days in Japan with ANN and PacSet.This tour is chock full of all the usual things you would expect, from Akihabara to Asakusa and Ota Road to Hikone Castle, but to make is extra special, we're adding an exclusive tour of an actual anime studio, dinners with ANN staff, and meet and greets with actual professionals working in the Japanese anime industry.
Between exclusive access, an expert guide, and curated opportunities, this is a tour that you simply can't get anywhere else (or on your own).
This tour brings together traditional Japanese culture and memorable anime sites; other things you can look forward to include a cruise down the Sumida River on the Hotaluna, a futuristic boat designed by the late great Leiji Matsumoto, a visit to Kanda Myojin Shrine (seen in Love Live!), a walk down the “Philosopher's Path” through the mountains to Nanzen-ji Temple, and a visit to the Nisshin Cup Noodle Museum to make noodles.
This tour hits Tokyo, Chichibu, Nagahama, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe.
