Murder suspect killed in arrest operation in Bukidnon
VALENCIA CITY, BUKIDNON, Philippines — A 45-year-old murder suspect listed as “most wanted” in Bukidnon province was killed during an armed confrontation in the course of an arrest operation in Sitio Lagaan, Barangay Apo Macote, Malaybalay City, on Thursday, September 24.
Authorities reported that the suspect was sought by law enforcers on force of an arrest warrant for murder.
According to a statement from the Malaybalay City police station, the unnamed suspect allegedly fired at the approaching police personnel, prompting law enforcers to retaliate.
