Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggyland’ Expanding Children’s Book Series (Exclusive First Look)

Translate

Snoop Dogg‘s Doggyland is expanding its children’s book offerings over the next few months, and The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive first look at the new installments.

The books are a tie-in with Snoop Dogg’s animated YouTube series Doggyland, which was co-created by Snoop Dogg, Emmy-nominated producer and creator Claude Brooks and Grammy-winning artist and producer October London. The show features a cast of dogs who sing, rap and dance to fun and educational songs that promote social-emotional and cognitive development in young children. Since its inception in 2022, Doggyland has produced a variety of educational songs about affirmations, letters, numbers, colors, animals, good habits and accepting others. The series focuses on delivering positive messages through music and storytelling, making learning an enjoyable experience for young viewers.

Five Doggyland books will be published this year via Little Bee Books: Affirmations Song, Family Barbecue, The Counting Numbers Song Sound Book, Jingle Bells and The Ultimate Sticker and Activity Book. Jingle Bells also launches the board book series this fall, followed by Hello, Good Morning and I Am Me in the spring.

“I can’t wait for the world to be able to pick up our new set of Doggyland books,” Snoop Dogg tells THR exclusively. “We got Jingle Bells on deck to get everyone into that holiday vibe, you know the Doggyland puppies just love giving gifts. We also have The Ultimate Sticker and Activity Book which is just a whole bundle of fun and in the palm of your hands. Comes stacked with games you can play and stickers of all the Doggyland fam. And as if that wasn’t enough we also have two more amazing titles for you, Good Morning and I Am Me, which are both simmering with positive affirmations and good vibes to make sure all the kids out there know that they’re worthy and amazing.”

Added Brooks: “We love getting families singing and dancing together and we’re excited to get them turning pages together, too. These four books carry the same joy and positive energy as our music with a message we want every child to hear: you matter, you belong and there’s something special about being you.”

Of the new offerings, first up is The Ultimate Sticker and Activity Book, which is on sale as of Oct. 27. The book features coloring pages, puzzles, mazes, more than 500 stickers and other activities. Take a look inside the book below.

The Jingle Bells board book follows Bow Wizzle (Snoop Dogg’s character in the series) and the Doggyland pups as they cruise through town on a Christmas adventure filled with holiday cheer, gift giving, music and community spirit. The book, which is shaped like Doggyland leader Bow Wizzle’s lowrider sleigh, supports social emotional learning through themes of connection, generosity, and caring for others. Take a look below.

Hello, Good Morning follows the Doggyland pups as they start their day in a “paws-itive” way. Take a look below.

In I Am Me, Bow Wizzle and the pups practice being true to themselves and celebrate what makes them unique. Take a look below.

The books will be available for purchase at book retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada and online.

In addition, a holiday-themed Doggyland event is set for 3 p.m. Dec. 12 at B&N Americana at Brand in Glendale, California. The event will feature a storytime with Brooks and a performance/sing-along by Doggyland‘s cast of costumed characters (including Snoop Dogg’s lead character, Bow Wizzle). There will be photo-ops and stamped autographs by the characters following the show.
