Sources: Chiefs sign former Ravens kicker Tucker to practice squad

Translate

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed five-time All-Pro kicker Justin Tucker, who hasn't played in the NFL since 2024, to their practice squad, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Tucker, who turns 37 next month, did not play last season as he served a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Tucker was accused of sexual misconduct by 16 massage therapists from eight high-end spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore area, according to The Baltimore Banner. All of the alleged misconduct reportedly occurred between 2012 and 2016, during Tucker's first five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens released Tucker in May 2025, ending his 13-year run in Baltimore that included seven Pro Bowl selections and a Super Bowl victory in his rookie season.

With the Chiefs, Tucker figures to serve as insurance to Harrison Butker, a fixture on Kansas City's three Super Bowl championship teams who has struggled this season. The 10-year veteran has missed five of 16 field-goal attempts this season, including two misses in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
