LEGO's brand-new Joker artwork is like nothing you've ever seen before – and you can pre-order it now

Before the movies came the comics, and LEGO's next big reveal for Batman pays homage to them in spectacular form.
LEGO The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover is a recreation of the cover of Detective Comics #880 published in 2011.

The 1,849-piece wall art is at first glance a simple black-and-white artwork with the classic red Joker smile, but in true LEGO form, the build contains plenty of hidden details to honour both the character and the comic.
The LEGO wall art has a 3D effect, which can be seen with the bats spreading beyond the photo frame. There are also hidden elements to discover, including swords, flowers, and a "ha, ha, ha, ha" added in, making the Joker's already intimidating appearance look even more sinister.

It's not the first artwork in the LEGO Batman franchise. Previous sets include the now-retired Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City, a 4,210-piece build which brilliantly depicts Gotham's dramatic skyline, and the Jim Lee Batman Collection – though if you're quick enough, we've found both sets with limited stock still on Amazon.

Meanwhile, LEGO has released other sets within the Batman franchise this year to mark 20 years of the franchise, including the LEGO Batman Batmobile inspired by Batman Returns.
LEGO has been busy quietly releasing other sets available to pre-order ahead of a 1 January release, including the latest extensions to the LEGO Super Mario collection.
Measuring 51cm high and 38cm wide, The Joker Wall Art is already available to pre-order for £149.99 exclusively at The Lego Store ahead of its 1 January release.
