Sisi Announces Launch of ‘Egypt Forum 2026’

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has announced on Thursday, 1 October, the launch of the preparatory sessions and the official website for “Egypt Forum 2026,” aimed at enabling the start of attendance registrations and setting the stage for a series of academic and community discussions and dialogues.

The initiative marks the beginning of preparations for the forum, scheduled to take place from 19 to 24 October.

In a a post on his official social media accounts, President Sisi said the launch includes both the preparatory meetings and the online platform, which will allow participants to register for attendance and engage in structured conversations.

He emphasized that the forum’s format is designed to bring together a wide range of voices through academic and societal dialogue, as part of the broader effort to prepare for the forum’s proceedings during the October dates.

The President also called on all state institutions, experts, and Egyptian citizens across different backgrounds and orientations to register on the forum’s website, share their views, and submit proposals.

He finally stressed that participation and dialogue are central to building Egypt’s future as he presented the initiative as an opportunity for collaborative national engagement leading up to the forum.
