Taylor Sheridan's hit crime thriller series once again proves itself a major streaming sensation, as it rises to the top of global charts following the release of new episodes. Sheridan has created many TV shows, with the writer mastering the art of multi-season series across different genres. Westerns, crime thrillers, spy thrillers, and more are within Sheridan's repertoire. Over the years, the list of Sheridan movies has also continued to grow, and it has veered more towards Neo-Westerns and crime thrillers, cementing the creative's control over those genres. On Paramount+, Sheridan continues to be a major streaming chart performer every year.
Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness, Marshals, and more TV shows either created by Sheridan, or that feature him as an executive producer, writer, director, and so on, have found success on streaming. One of those hit projects is the crime thriller series Tulsa King, which stars one of Hollywood's biggest action movie stars of all time, Sylvester Stallone. In the gritty series, Stallone plays Dwight Manfredi, who moves from New York and is sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, after being released from prison to establish a new criminal empire there for the mafia. Tulsa King has once again come to lead Paramount+.
Tulsa King Is Officially The #1 Show On Paramount+
At the time of writing, Tulsa King stands as the most popular TV show on Paramount+ worldwide, according to data from FlixPatrol. The Stallone-led crime thriller series created by Sheridan does so after coming back with new episodes. Following season 3's conclusion in late 2025, Tulsa King season 4 debuted on Paramount+ on October 16. Only one episode of the hit crime drama's new season is out so far, with Tulsa King season 4, episode 2, "Blind Rooster," dropping on the streaming service on Friday, October 23. Like the show's last couple of seasons, there will be 10 episodes in Tulsa King season 4.

As such, the Sheridan-created crime thriller is expected to keep leading Paramount+'s charts for a few months, with the season 4 finale scheduled to arrive on December 18. That said, Tulsa King is battling another major genre series on Paramount+'s global charts, as Tom Hardy's MobLand ranks 3rd and is also airing new episodes weekly on the streamer. Tulsa King also ranks above shows like South Park, Avatar: Seven Havens, Sheridan's Lioness, Marshals, and Yellowstone, and more on Paramount+ worldwide. In the United States, Tulsa King is currently Paramount+'s 5th most-watched TV show — South Park leads the chart.
Taylor Sheridan's Crime World Will Continue To Expand
Tulsa King season 4 still has most of the season left to air, but these remaining episodes will not be the end of the show's run. Tulsa King has already been renewed for season 5. Additionally, talking to Collider, Stallone revealed that he would like to see the show return for one more after that, claiming that six seasons is what he views as a dream world scenario for the Sheridan crime thriller series. Parallel to that, the show is getting a spin-off, Samuel L. Jackson's Frisco King, which will feature Stallone as a guest star. Tulsa King's universe is expanding.
