The "Japanese-inspired dark fantasy" game will have language support in Japanese and in English. The game's tagline is "It all begins with a life lost."

The game will feature illustrations by Yone Kazuki (Hakuōki). Ririka Yoshimura (Neon Clash -Echoes of the Lost-, Cupid Parasite) is writing the scenario, Naohiro Yūki (Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER) is the background artist, and Yamato (The Red Bell's Lament) from Heart Company is composing the soundtrack. Arika will perform the game's theme song. Yoshimura and Voltage's Rei Misaki are directing the game. Producers include Voltage's Satoshi Nohara and Toei's Hiroaki Shibata and Honoka Kishi.

The Animate Girls Festival 2026 event being held in Ikebukuro on November 7 and 8 will reveal the first teaser video. Visitors to the booth will receive a booklet featuring character information and a large promotional shopping bag.

AmuLit stated it will reveal the main characters on November 7 at 12:00 p.m. JST (November 6 at 10:00 p.m. EST).

Voltage's other console games as part of its AmuLit brand include: even if TEMPEST, even if TEMPEST: Dawning Connections, The Red Bell's Lament, Neon Clash -Echoes of the Lost-, and sins of KALEIDO.
