Tollywood star Nandamuri Balakrishna who had suffered an injury earlier in June while shooting an action sequence for his next film ‘Dada’ has reportedly fully recovered. If the reports are to be believed the Telugu veteran seems to have now returned to the sets as well.

According to Cinema Express, Balakrishna has resumed shooting for the film in Mysore, where the team has begun a crucial and lengthy schedule. Director Gopichand Malineni is currently filming the upcoming portions with the actor and other members of the cast.

It is also suggested that the current schedule in Mysore will focus mainly on the talkie portions of ‘Dada’. Balakrishna and several other prominent actors will participate in the shoot, with the team planning to film important sequences during this schedule.The return of Balakrishna marks an important step forward for the production after his injury. The makers are working on the film as a stylish commercial action entertainer.Earlier, the makers recently released a glimpse of ‘NBK111’. The video showed Balakrishna in a stylish and action-packed role. ‘Dada’ marks the second collaboration between Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni after their successful film ‘Veera Simha Reddy’.

Kajal Aggarwal has been confirmed as the female lead. The other cast members also include Samuthirakani, Sarath Kumar, Abhimanyu Singh, Upendra Limaye, Manish Wadhwa and Swasika, along with several other actors.The technical team includes cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap, music composer S Thaman, production designer AS Prakash and editor Navin Nooli. Sai Madhav Burra has written the dialogues, while Ram Lakshman, Ravi Varma and Vvenkat are handling the action choreography.‘Dada’ is scheduled to release in theatres on December 24, 2026, during the Christmas festive season.
