Stop President 'Dramp's' Ambitions in New Mahjong Game for Switch
Gyuwanburā Jikochūshin-ha Doranpu Teikoku o Wakarasero! (Self-Centered Gambler: Teach the Dramp Empire a Lesson!), a new mahjong game parodying United States President Donald Trump, went on display at the Success booth during the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026 this week. Along with the demo at TGS 2026, the company Success presented a promotional video for its game:
The game features 20 characters from the Gyuwanburā Jikochūshin-ha franchise by veteran mahjong manga creator Masayuki Katayama. It also adds two new opponents: Great Dramp and Elon Musg — Dramp's greatest collaborator whose company Laste is developing a gasoline-powered mahjong table. The story begins at Nankuru Prison on an otherwise uninhabited Okinawan island, but then shifts to Dramp Tower in Manhattan.
Success is set to release the game in October on the Nintendo Switch for 5,280 yen (about US$34). The company has not announced if the game will be available internationally.
Katayama launched the original Gyuwanburā Jikochūshin-ha manga in Kodansha's Young Magazine in 1982. The Gyuwanburā Jikochūshin-ha game series began in 1987, and now boasts almost two dozen entries nearly four decades later.
