DPMM shoot down Deer to go fourth in Super League

KUALA LUMPUR: Negri Sembilan remain without a genuine Super League win this season following a 3-1 defeat to DPMM at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan on Friday.
The Deer have now lost three matches, with their sole victory coming via a 3-0 walkover against KL City in their opening fixture.
DPMM extended their strong run with a fourth win to consolidate fourth place in the standings with 12 points.
The hosts took the lead in the 12th minute when Scott Robertson's long ball found Jordan Murray, who beat Negri goalkeeper Syahmi Adib Haikal Shukri with a looping header.
The visitors responded in the 32nd minute when Luqman Hakim Shamsudin finished Yuichi Hirano's pass to draw level.
Both sides pushed for a second goal after the interval but struggled to break through as the match drifted towards a draw.
However, DPMM struck twice in the closing stages to deny the visitors a point.
Substitute Dalberto Luan Belo restored the lead with a long-range effort in the 88th minute before setting up Oscar Santis in stoppage time to seal the win.
