BENGALURU: A video of two girls and an auto driver fighting in HSR Layout 3rd Sector on Monday afternoon went viral on social media.A mobile clip recorded by the public shows the two girls fighting with the auto driver, with both sides exchanging blows.

When the situation began getting out of control, another girl intervened and stopped the fight.The video, shared on Instagram and other social media platforms, went viral, with netizens demanding immediate police action.According to HSR Layout police, they contacted the girls soon after seeing the video and asked them to file a complaint. However, the girls refused to come and sought a day or two's time, a senior officer said.Meanwhile, police also traced the auto driver. He told police that the girls had hired his auto and fought with him over the payment.He further alleged that the girls were under the influence of alcohol, abused him and refused to make the payment, following which they assaulted him first and he assaulted them in retaliation.“We will take necessary action once the girls file a complaint,” the officer added.
