Amazon reveals top 10 'must have' toys for Christmas 2026

Amazon has unveiled its “Toys We Love” list for 2026, featuring the presents that are expected to excite youngsters when the big day rolls around next month.

The retail giant said that, while some of the biggest names in toys are battling for a place under the Christmas tree, parents would likely be relieved that gifts in its top 10 list start at less than £10.

Among the standout picks are a new twist on the classic UNO card game, a Playmobil space rocket for budding astronauts and a Lexibook StarCam for children who want to practise their photography.

There are also creative building kits, surprise collectibles and imaginative playsets designed to keep children entertained long after the wrapping paper has been cleared away.

The list, hand-picked by Amazon’s toy experts, contains presents to suit different ages, interests and budgets.

For the fourth year in a row, Amazon said it would donate hundreds of toys to families struggling with the cost of living this Christmas through its partnership with charity, The Multibank.

The presents will be delivered in a giant toy chest to six Multibank sites across the UK, including London, Greater Manchester, Birmingham, Tees Valley, Fife and Swansea, before being distributed to families in need.

The charity, which provides everything from nappies and toiletries to household essentials, has already distributed more than 23 million items, supporting more than three million families across Britain.

Andrew Wright, EU director of toys at Amazon, said: “Our Toys We Love list brings together some of the year’s most exciting must-haves, giving shoppers inspiration to find the perfect Christmas gift.

“From family games and trending collectibles to toys that spark imaginative play, we’ve hand-picked something for different ages, interests and budgets.

“Once again, we’re proud to be donating hundreds of toys from this year’s list to Multibanks across the UK, helping families make Christmas that little bit more special.”

Bob Garmory, chief executive officer at The Multibank, said: “For families facing financial pressures, this time of year can be particularly challenging, with the rising cost of everyday life making it harder to create special moments for their children.

“That’s why the continued support of Amazon is so important, helping us reach families who need it most. We’re delighted to be able to distribute some of the year’s most sought-after toys, bringing a little extra joy to families and helping more children experience the excitement and happiness that every child deserves.”
