'Ramayana' new posters: Ranbir, Sai and Ravie's vanvaas looks unveiled

Nitesh Tiwari's most awaited epic 'Ramayana' has added another major update to its promotional campaign. The makers have unveiled new character posters from the much-awaited two-part epic.

The latest visuals introduce Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey and Yash in their respective roles.Ranbir Kapoor appears as Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi portrays Goddess Sita. Ravie Dubey has been introduced as Lord Lakshman, and Yash takes on the role of King Ravana. The new posters provide a closer look at the characters ahead of the film's theatrical release.

One of the new posters brings together Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey during the vanvaas phase.

The three actors are seen in traditional saffron attire in the character reveal. Ranbir Kapoor is presented as Lord Ram with a bow in his hands. Ravie Dubey, who plays God Lakshman, is also seen carrying a bow. Sai Pallavi appears as Goddess Sita and has a calm, graceful appearance.The makers shared the visual with the caption, “Together Always, in Dharma." Yash's Ravana poster introduces a larger-than-life look

The makers then unveiled a separate poster dedicated to Yash.

The actor appears as Ravana in an elaborate character look. Yash wears detailed traditional attire. His intense expression gives the character a powerful screen presence, just like what we saw in the trailer. The makers described the character through the caption, “The ruler of all 3 worlds, Ravana."

'Ramayana: Part 1' brings together a large ensemble

The first part of 'Ramayana' features several established actors in important roles. Kajal Aggarwal will play Mandodari, while Rakul Preet Singh has been cast as Surpanakha.

Sheeba Chaddha will portray Manthara in the film. Kunal Kapoor has been cast as Indra. Sunny Deol will appear as Hanuman, while Arun Govil will portray Dashrath. Lara Dutta is also part of the cast as Kaikeyi.

Nitesh Tiwari's two-part epic set for Diwali release

Nitesh Tiwari is directing 'Ramayana', with Namit Malhotra backing the ambitious project. The film is being planned as a two-part cinematic adaptation. 'Ramayana: Part 1' is scheduled to release internationally on November 6, 2026. The India release is planned for Diwali on November 8. The second part is scheduled to arrive during Diwali 2027, and the anticipation levels are high.
