Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a foot injury.
With Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and Tank Bigsby (abdomen) sidelined, Shipley got the start against Jacksonville. He scored his first career touchdown before exiting late in the first quarter.
Dameon Pierce took over the primary running back responsibilities, with Carson Steele backing him up.
Shipley appeared on the injury report last week with a foot injury but was not on the practice report this week.
Defensive back Michael Carter II (abdomen) was also ruled out. Edge Jalyx Hunt (ankle/knee) and guard Tyler Steen (shoulder) also left the game.
Philadelphia has dealt with a number of injuries this season. Barkley, receivers DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown, edge Jonathan Greenard, center Drew Kendall and safety Marcus Epps were ruled out before the game.
