Keri Russell's Daughter Makes First Public Appearance at PFW

How Matthew Rhys Really Feels About Keri Russell’s Infamous Felicity Haircut
Keri Russell is taking Paris Fashion Week with her mini-me.
The Diplomat actress was joined by her 13-year-old daughter Willa for the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2027 fashion show at the Louvre Oct. 6.
The teen looked to be the spitting image of her Emmy-nominated mom, donning a light red skirt with a matching zip-up sweater, black heels, a red purse and a sleek ponytail. Russell looked equally fashion-forward, sporting an oversized white button-up shirt, a short black skirt, black heels and, of course, a Louis Vuitton handbag.
The fashion show marked the first public appearance for Willa, whom Russell shares with ex-husband Shane Deary. She and Deary also share son River, 19, while she and partner Matthew Rhys are parents to 10-year-old son Sam.
While Willa was up for a jaunt to Fashion Week, she’s been less interested in other aspects of her mother’s career, namely watching Russell’s classic teen drama Felicity.
"My daughter about a year ago—she's kind of mature for her age, and she was bored one day—I said, 'Hey, Willa, I did this show about this college girl, and you might think it's cool. It's really sweet,’” Russell recalled on a 2023 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “I showed it to her. I put it on, and I downloaded an episode from Amazon or wherever you get it these days.”
"After about 15 minutes, she turned it off and she went, 'Ugh, mom, it's so cringy,’” Russell revealed. "She was actually grossed out by me. I was like, 'Oh, I thought you might like it.'"

Instead, Willa reiterated how “cringy” it was, asking her mom, “Why would you think I'd want to watch your college experience making out with weird boys and stuff?"
And though Willa has no interest in watching Felicity, which ran for four seasons from 1998 to 2002, Russell has made it a priority to spend more time with her kids thanks to The Diplomat being filmed in New York City.
“I am enormously grateful, because I still have kids at home, and so does Deborah Cahn, who writes the show,” she shared with Rolling Stone in 2024. “And it’s just immensely important to be close to home and not leave your kids to be raised by wolves.”
