Home and Away reveals emotional new Eden scenes as wedding anniversary arrives

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-paced episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Eden Fowler and Cash Newman's wedding brings up complex emotions for the pair in upcoming Home and Away scenes. After suffering from exhaustion, dizzy spells, and fatigue, Eden was diagnosed with aplastic anemia in the Australian soap.

Doctors explained that she would need a viable stem cell donor before her condition deteriorates further.

She has been supported by her loved ones as she undergoes treatment, including husband, Cash, who has been by her side every step of the way and helped push medical professionals for a diagnosis.

In scenes set to air this week in Australia, Eden decides to surprise Cash with a dinner date.

Cash studies a new diet plan that he found in an online support group for those suffering from aplastic anemia, which he joined in a bid to find any way to help Eden.

With their first wedding anniversary looming, Eden is keen to push the boat out and celebrate.

However, knowing how tired she becomes from performing simple tasks due to her condition, Cash suggests they have a quiet night at home instead.

Eden agrees with Cash, but later calls Remi Carter to help her plan a surprise, tearfully telling him that this could be the only wedding anniversary that she gets to celebrate.

Remi ropes in Levi Fowler to tell Cash he wants to hang out as part of Eden and Remi's plan.

However, it doesn't quite work, with Cash seeing right through his ruse and demanding to know what is going on.

Levi tells Cash all about Eden's plan, and he isn't sure how to react - angry that she is pushing herself so hard, or elated that she could be so thoughtful.

Surrounded by family and friends, Eden and Cash enjoy the dinner date with views of the picturesque Summer Bay.

Cash also reveals a little surprise for Eden, a round-the-world plane ticket that he says they can use when she gets better.

Eden is grateful for the gift, but she is left worried that she may never be able to use it.
