Pututi & Nesty Sign Deal With Warner Music Latina: ‘We’re Excited for What’s Ahead’

Dale Pututi and Nesty have signed a deal with Warner Music Latina, Billboard can exclusively announce Tuesday (Sept. 29). The signing is in partnership with their management Velodia Entertainment, helmed by Maria Velandia Melandri. 

“We feel like this was the right time to make this happen,” the two Cuban artists expressed in a press statement. “We’ve been building, creating and watching Cuban music reach new places, so we’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to begin this next chapter with Warner Music Latina. To have this partnership come together here in Miami, our home, makes it even more special. We can’t wait to see what we build together.”

The news comes on the heels of the pair making their debut on the Billboard charts this summer with “Los Despechaos” in collaboration with Tito El Bambino. The heartfelt song that effortlessly laces reparto with música Mexicana is at No. 11 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay and No. 35 on Latin Airplay, at the time of publishing. 

Pututi (real name: Alejandro Arce) and Nesty (real name: Ernesto Alejandro Galguera) each led their own musical careers until they joined forces for 2049 — a four-track EP released in 2025 that shaped their era as a duo. Since then, they’ve given Cuba’s reparto music (a genre that was born in the marginalized neighborhoods in Cuba and fuses urban with folk, such as timba and rumba, powered by the clave and drum pedal) a commercial touch.

Together, they’ve released viral songs like “Tata (La Conga),” “Personaje (La Rumba),” and “Efímero” with former CNCO member, Erick Brian, which was voted a Billboard fan favorite New Music Latin release of the week in August. 

The signing with Warner arrives just weeks after the Cuban artists — who are currently touring Europe — signed a worldwide booking representation deal with Magnus. Additionally, Nesty inked a global publishing deal with Peermusic in June.
