DDA Vet Jack Davidson Exits To Launch Events Management Company JDL

EXCLUSIVE: After a 17-year run at comms agency DDA, Jack Davidson has exited to launch an event management and logistics company, Jack Davidson Logistics and Events (JDL).

London-based Davidson most recently served as Senior Vice President at DDA Event Management (DDA EM). DDA EM has recently been acquired by DDA Global (DDA) and merged with its existing divisions.

Davidson’s new company will specialise in event management and logistic with a focus on film, TV and tech festivals and markets. It will also offer tech support, screening support, and logistical and event services for awards campaigns, in the UK and Europe.

Prior to being recruited by DDA partner Caroline Warburton in 2010, Davidson worked in luxury travel marketing with Ann Scott Associates, and for Reliance Big Pictures in Mumbai, India.

Davidson, the son of retired DDA founder Dennis Davidson, said: “I will always be grateful for the opportunities that Caroline gave me over the past 17 years but her pending retirement from the company that she formed in 1999 with my father, Dennis Davidson, meant this was the perfect time for me to step away from DDA Global and the new management to start up JDL.”

Davidson recently completed his final activities with DDA at the Venice Film Festival for clients including Netflix, AGC, ImageNation Studios, Bleeker Street and StudioCanal. He will introduce JDL to potential clients over the coming months leading up to the AFM.
