Asian Games-bound Indian golfer Pranavi Urs did not get to hit a single shot after play was suspended due to rain but remained in contention for a top-10 finish at the weather-hit La Sella Open on the Ladies European Tour.

Pranavi was one of the two Indians to make the cut. She shot 3-under 69 and 1-under 71 to be 4-under for two rounds. She is Tied-eighth. Avani Prashanth, who made the cut with a long birdie putt on the 18th in the second round, is Tied-49th.

Diksha Dagar, Vani Kapoor and Hitaashee Bakshi missed the cut.

With play on day 3 hit by heavy rain, followed by thunder and lightning, play was suspended. With conditions deemed unsafe and further disruption expected, officials made the difficult decision to shorten the tournament by one round.

England’s Charlotte Heath will take a commanding four-shot advantage into the final round after severe weather reduced the event to 54 holes.

Indian Racing Festival: Goa Aces JA Racing claims two wins in second round of F4 Indian Championship

The Indian Racing Festival (IRF) 2026 delivered an action-packed second round of the F4 Indian Championship at Kari Motor Speedway (KMS) in Coimbatore.

The three-race weekend saw Goa Aces JA Racing, owned by actor John Abraham, secure two victories through Luviwe Sambudla, while Hyderabad Blackbirds’ Bhuvan Bonu claimed the remaining race.

The weekend also marked an important milestone for the championship, with Race 2 becoming the 50th F4 race since the championship’s inception.

Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru’s Aris Kyriakou retained the championship lead after securing three podium finishes across the weekend, while Sambudla’s two victories moved him closer to the top of the standings.

INRC Round 2: Macarenhas, Karumbaiah win Rally of Coimbatore

The FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) 2026 Round 2 took place in Coimbatore on September 19 and 20 with 64 competitors.

Over two days, the crews faced eight stage runs and 110.80 km of competitive distance, almost entirely on gravel. Saturday’s loop ran Black Thunder (13.50 km) and S.M. Agro (14.20 km) twice each. On Sunday, the same roads came back in reverse, as S.M. Agro (R) and Black Thunder (R), so crews had to read familiar ground from the other direction.

Saturday belonged to Karna Kadur and Musa Sherif of ARKA Motorsports. The former national champion was quickest of the leading pair on both of the opening stages and ended the day at the head of the field. Close behind came Fabid Ahmer and Milen George, 5.6 seconds back. Dean Macarenhas and Gagan Karumbaiah were third, just over nine seconds adrift, with plenty of road left.

Sunday brought the turn. On S.M. Agro (R), Macarenhas took nearly nine seconds from Kadur and moved past Ahmer. The gap to the leader shrank to 0.148 seconds, smaller than a blink. On Black Thunder (R), he found a rhythm Kadur could not answer, taking more than 14 seconds in a single run. Macarenhas was the faster of the two on every stage from SS3 onward, and he crossed the line in 1:36:19.777, 23.482 seconds clear. Kadur, the former National champion, never stopped pushing and finished second in 1:36:43.259.
