(Asiad) S. Korean epee team seeks to defend Asiad title on Chuseok
NAGOYA, Japan, Sept. 25 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean women's epee fencing team will seek to defend its Asiad title at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Chuseok on Friday, extending the country's gold medal rally to six straight days.
The team of Song Se-ra, Yang Seung-hye, Lim Tae-hee and Lee Hye-in will fight in the women's epee team event to win the gold medal for the second consecutive Asian Games.
Song, who won the women's epee individual event on Tuesday, will spearhead the campaign and become the first South Korean double gold medalist at the competition.
On the men's side, the foil team -- Kim Tae-hwan, Youn Jeong-hyun, Lee Kwang-hyun and Im Cheol-woo -- will also seek for the third straight gold at the Asian Games.

In shooting, Choo Ga-eun, the gold medalist in the women's 10-meter air pistol event, will team up with Hong Su-hyeon to pursue her second Asiad title in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.

South Korea will seek a medal in the 3x3 basketball, where South Korea won one silver and one bronze in the previous two Asian Games.
In artistic gymnastics, Kim Jae-ho will perform in the finals for vault and parallel bars, while Ryu Sung-hyun will compete in the horizontal bar final.
Yeo Seo-jeong, who won gold in the women's vault the previous day, will pursue her second medal in the floor exercise final.
In football, the men's team will face Vietnam and the women's team will take on Uzbekistan both in the semifinals.
The women's basketball team will play in the semifinals against China.
