Diane Lane Joins Li Jun Li In Hulu Limited Series ‘Victoria’

Diane Lane has joined the cast of Victoria, Hulu‘s upcoming thriller limited series from Christy Hall, Onyx Collective and Counterpart Studios. She joins previously announced Li Jun Li.

Created and written by Hall (I Am Not Okay with This), set in the cutthroat world of San Francisco’s elite, Victoria follows a brilliant con artist who finds herself in a dark web of power, luxury and the crosshairs of a seductive killer who knows her secrets.

Lane will play Lee Calloway, a savvy venture capitalist accustomed to getting what she wants and has worked too hard to let anyone stand between her and the win.

Li plays Maxine Tao, a sophisticated and cunning con woman who is thrust into the seductive, high-stakes world of venture capital after a chance encounter grants her the grift of a lifetime.

Hall will serve as writer, showrunner and exec producer alongside Emmy nominee Geeta Vasant Patel (Lanterns, Under the Bridge), who’s directing the pilot, along with Lilly Burns, Elise Henderson and Tony Hernandez for Counterpart Studios. Li is co-producer.

Oscar and Emmy-nominated Lane will be seen in Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist, alongside Scarlett Johansson, and will recur in the Netflix comedy series A Hundred Percent. She most recently led the Jan Komasa thriller Anniversary, alongside Phoebe Dynevor and Kyle Chandler. Lane is repped by CAA, Range and Weintraub.
