In the first week of the NRLW finals, Wests Tigers face Canberra and Brisbane hosts Newcastle.

What's next?

Across both leagues, there will be matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Dates and times for the second week of the NRL finals, and the opening week of the NRLW finals series, have been released.

The Roosters will face the Cronulla Sharks at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday night, with kick-off at 7:50pm AEST. The winner of that match will face the Dolphins in a preliminary final the following week.

The other semifinal between the New Zealand Warriors and Newcastle Knights will be on Sunday, kicking off at 4:05pm AEST. The winner of that match will face the Penrith Panthers in a preliminary final.

It was confirmed on Sunday that the Warriors-Knights semifinal will be moved to Eden Park in Auckland, away from the Warriors' usual home ground at Mt Smart Stadium.

In the NRLW, the Wests Tigers and Canberra Raiders face off on Friday night, in each club's maiden finals appearance.
