These £12.99 Boots fragrances smell like rival luxury Chanel and Glossier perfumes

On your next Boots trip where you inevitably pick up a plethora of products you didn’t initially go in for, maybe wander over to the new-in aisle and discover Boots’ latest release. Long overdue, the highstreet hero has released five new fragrances in its collection, Boots Last Note, all priced at an extremely reasonable £12.99.

The idea of the eau de parfums is for there to be a lasting impression, for you to feel the lingering ‘last note’.

We’ve recently seen just how good high street brands can be, with M&S’ Studio perfumes and Apothecary line being firm favourites. The natural next step for Boots has not disappointed, with no skimping on quality, despite the pleasing price.

The five scents hit all profiles from musky to fresh – including Into the Orchard (£12.99, Boots.com), a fruitier spritz with a warm depth, and Soft Island Drift (£12.99, Boots.com), something for those after their next holiday scent.

With top notes of Bergamot and Peach, balanced out but the warm base notes of Vanilla, Amber and Musk, Boots have created a scent profile that feels mature for Vanilla instead of a typical sickly sweet fragrance. The floral notes of Rose, Patchouli and Jasmine work harmoniously to sooth the sweetness and create a scent similar to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense.

The perfect everyday scent, Echoes of You provides that just stepped out the shower, clean but not overpowering smell.
