Rasmus Højlund gets the nod over Lorenzo Lucca as Napoli line up with a back three under Marco Landucci, while former Napoli winger Cyril Ngonge starts for Monza.
It kicks off at 20:45 CET [19:45 GMT] at the U-Power Stadium, with Giovanni Ayroldi refereeing.

The visitors are without Massimiliano Allegri in the dugout. He was banned for two games after his red card for dissent in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Roma, so long-time assistant Marco Landucci takes charge here and at Juventus on Sunday. Napoli initially said they would appeal, but Allegri dropped it. “You never know, they might have given me four,” he said.
The Partenopei are 10th in Serie A on 11 points, 14 behind leaders Lazio. Before the Roma draw they suffered a shock defeat to Venezia, and they beat Bodø/Glimt 4-3 in the Champions League in between.
Monza are 15th on seven points. They have won their last two home games, against Sassuolo and Cagliari, before losing 3-2 at Torino on Friday. Gustavo Varela has nine goals in eight competitive games this season.

There are plenty of Partenopei links in Ivan Juric’s squad. Michael Folorunsho, on loan from Napoli, is left out against his parent club, and no reason has been given. Cyril Ngonge, another former Napoli player, is in the squad. So is Exequiel Zeballos, who came close to joining Napoli from Boca Juniors in the summer before signing for Monza.
Matteo Pessina (kneecap), Jan Ziółkowski (plantar fasciitis) and Yvan Maye (muscular) are also out for Monza.
For Napoli, Benoit Badiashile (right thigh) and Leonardo Spinazzola (hamstring) were both injured against Roma. Alessandro Buongiorno, Alisson Santos, Costantino Favasuli and David Neres are also unavailable. Amir Rrahmani is back after missing the Roma game with a fever and Giovanni Di Lorenzo is in the squad despite a knee knock against Bodø/Glimt.
Neither side has any players suspended.

Monza: Törnqvist; Birindelli, Lucchesi, Goglichidze; Bakoune, Colombo, Foe Ondoa, Mangas; Ngonge, Robinson; Varela
Coach: Juric
Napoli: Milinković-Savić; Di Lorenzo, Marín, Rrahmani; Politano, Anguissa, Lobotka, McTominay, Olivera; Lang, Højlund
Coach: Landucci (Allegri suspended)
