Listen to Olivia Rodrigo’s New Song “Take Me Home (4 Christmas)”

Translate

All Olivia Rodrigo wants for Christmas is for her partner’s grandma to think she’s cool. Rodrigo just shared her first holiday song, aptly titled “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” and it’s all about that first time you meet your honey’s extended family on their turf. Written with usual suspects Dan Nigro and Amy Allen, it’s accompanied by a music video starring Saturday Night Live’s Ben Marshall as Rodrigo’s boo, and Cynthia Nixon as his mom. Watch it below.

“Take Me Home” is Rodrigo’s follow-up to the David Byrne-starring video for her “Expectations” remix with tourmate Chappell Roan. Both songs featured on her 2026 album You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love, which she’s currently bringing around the world on the Unraveled Tour. Her opening lineup features Grace Ives, Wolf Alice, Devon Again, the Last Dinner Party, and Die Spitz.

Earlier this year, Rodrigo also launched her own benefit music festival, Daisy Chain Fields. The inaugural edition, which took place in California in August and was inspired by Lilith Fair, gathered an age-diverse lineup of female artists from Quiet Light to the Breeders. At the even, which raised $20 million for sponsors like Planned Parenthood and Center for Reproductive Rights, Rodrigo also debuted a new song inspired by The Handmaids Tale, “Serena Joy.”
