Knicks agree to deal with vet free agent Konchar
Free agent forward John Konchar has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Knicks, agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group told ESPN on Tuesday night.
Konchar, 30, is entering his eighth NBA season after spending the 2025-26 campaign with the Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies.
The Knicks currently have two open roster spots and are expected to have a training camp battle for one of the spots while potentially keeping the 15th open.
Konchar was one of the most experienced free agents remaining on the market, with over 360 games in the NBA under his belt. He spent the first six seasons of his career with Memphis before he was traded midseason to the Jazz last year.
He averaged 5.9 points, 3.0 assists and 5.7 rebound in 26 games for Utah last season.
