EastEnders spoilers reveal aftermath of Amy Mitchell killing evil Craig Ingram with another emotional exit from Walford

Translate

Fresh spoilers from next week's EastEnders episodes reveal that an exit is on the horizon.

It comes following the death of Craig Ingram (Matthew James-Bailey) - Amy Mitchell's (Ellie Dadd) groomer who convinced her to leave Albert Square and start a new life. He'd preyed on a number of her vulnerabilities, and even managed to get his hands on her inheritance money.

The whopping sum was to be used to get them out of the country, though following intervention from her dad Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and former stepfather Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky), the bank account was frozen.

In a fit of rage, Craig slapped Amy.

Later, after believing that her stepmum Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was critically ill, Amy raced to the hospital to say goodbye. Craig waited outside, though following an altercation with Sean, managed to scarper again.

His behaviour was steadily becoming more unpredictable, and Amy knew that she would have to try and escape his clutches. While Craig shopped for their dinner she desperately called Denzel Danes (Laden Ladega) for help, though he soon returned and a scuffle ensued.

Amy rushed into the bathroom, terrified that he was going to sexually assault her, before striking him over the head with a candlestick.

As blood pooled from Craig's head across the floor, it was evident that he'd died. When the police arrived, Amy claimed that she'd managed to outrun her abuser, though hadn't turned around to check whether he was following her.

But what happens next for the teen?

Now that this week's episodes have aired, we can reveal that tensions continue to run high in Walford next week. Amy is overwhelmed by her actions, and clashes with both Jack and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman).

Sean can see that she's struggling, and hopes that she'll take the suggestion of some time away from the area on board. Before she can make a decision, Jack orders her to return home and Denise tries to make him see sense.

Eventually, the decision is made to send Amy off to stay with some extended family to give her a chance at a recovery.

Meanwhile, across the Square, Sean and Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) resolve a feud that has been ongoing for the last two decades. As viewers will remember, the pair once dated - though he cheated on her with her step sister Carly Wicks (Kellie Shirley).

With their differences now put to one side, could a new romance begin to blossom?
